Annabel & Joel / Padar Island & Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩 / It had been 3 years since we last visited Padar Island and we had always wanted to go back to shoot a prewedding but it isn't easy finding a couple adventurous enough to want to make the hike up the island, journey for hours in a small boat and fly propeller planes to make their way there!

And so it was really a dream come true when our wonderful couple Annabel and Joel said hey let's do it! So, so much planning went into this to make this series of pictures come to life, which we had wanted to be the centerpiece of their prewedding shoot.

When we finally finished hiking up the island for a good half hour (it was really, really hot and it was all uphill) with all our gear in tow and were pretty exhausted (to say the least!) it was only the start because the shoot hadn't yet begun! But Annabel and Joel sprang into action and truly made the pictures of a lifetime. We can still remember climbing on top of the boulder to get the vantage point we needed and seeing the scene unfold before our eyes. What we had envisioned for years was finally happening! With a beautiful sunset ever so softly embracing the island in its golden light, we couldn't help but admire one of the most epic scenes we had ever seen, a reflection of the love and chemistry between these two and their adventurous personalities (they went scuba diving the at sunrise the next day). Even the most adorable deer came by to say hi to us as you'll see in the pics!

We had the adventure of a lifetime during our 3 days spent with them in Bali and can't wait to share more! Truly grateful to Annabel and Joel for being there with us and having us for their shoot. We'll never forget our times spent with them and how much fun it was going through their pictures together a few days ago when they dropped by our place! All love, smiles, good laughs, and fantastic times!
