Yuna's Baby Ceremony in Japan

We can't thank Kaoru and Kevin enough for having us over not just for their Japan wedding but also to take pictures at the Ashiya shrine for baby Yuna, where they went to wish her health and happiness for the amazing future she has ahead of her! We enjoyed our time with them and Yuna is such a joy to be around, always smiling and so adorable! With the entire family replete in stunning kimonos amidst the beautiful backdrop of the shrine and the changing colors of the fall leaves, there were some amazing pictures to be taken. Two of our favorite frames from our entire trip to Japan are the one of Kaoru and Yuna below the arches of the shrine in the late morning 🌅 🇯🇵 sunrise, and the other with Yuna crawling around while gave us the biggest smile 😁 holding one of our cameras. Don't think we've ever seen a better sign that someone was ready to be a photographer! Definitely one of our favorite family shoots and we are grateful to the Engs for their hospitality and friendship!
